The National Police Foundation recently completed an evaluation of the implementation of an AGSD system in Wilmington, DE. The evaluation included qualitative and quantitative components and featured a wide range of statistical techniques.
In recent years, law enforcement agencies have increasingly deployed technological solutions to prevent and solve gun crimes. Agencies and elected officials have long recognized the need for rigorous evaluations of these technologies. However, what is often overlooked is a clear-eyed statement of what a successful or unsuccessful program looks like.
