In recent years, law enforcement agencies have increasingly deployed technological solutions to prevent and solve gun crimes. Agencies and elected officials have long recognized the need for rigorous evaluations of these technologies. However, what is often overlooked is a clear-eyed statement of what a successful or unsuccessful program looks like.
